Mr. Ismael Garcia, Superintendent of Schools kicked off the 2016-2017 school year by hosting his first round of Superintendent’s Student Leadership Advisory meetings this week at both the Junior High School and the High School campuses. The students in attendance at the Junior High were derived from each of the three grade levels and were selected based upon their campus involvement and participation in Summer leadership activities. At the high school, students in attendance represented multiple areas; i.e. STUCO, NHS, Class office, etc.
At these meetings, Mr. Garcia spoke directly to our students to secure critical information regarding their thoughts and impressions regarding academics, food services, technology, and even wellness activities on their respective campuses. The student leaders at both campuses responded very well, and we expect to post some of their comments in the very near future.
