Ms. Claudia Villalobos is an alumni and former teacher of Rio Hondo ISD. She has accepted the opportunity to serve on the RHISD School Board so that she can work as a team and positively impact and help improve the district. Although she does not have any children of her own, Ms. Villalobos does have numerous nieces and nephews that attend Rio Hondo ISD. She feels it was important to represent the students that she once served as a teacher. For Ms. Villalobos, as they became more than just students on a roster, they became, as she felt, her own children. Ms. Villalobos is currently employed an alumni college counselor.
