The Boy’s Bobcat Powerlifting State Qualifiers Matthew Lopez and Scott Atkinson competed at the THSPA State Powerlifting Championships on Saturday in Abilene, Tx. Matt and Scott represented our school proudly as both competed fiercely against other lifters from around the state. Matthew Lopez placed 2nd with a squat of 730lbs bench 440lbs and deadlift 605lbs for a total of 1,775lbs. Scott placed 4th with a squat of 730lbs bench 395lbs and deadlift 600lbs for a total of 1,725lbs. Scott set personal records on squat and total. As a team RH Bobcat Powerlifting tied for 10th place in the State. Congratulations to all lifters of the RH Bobcat Powerlifting Team on a great season.
