Parent meeting notice.
Good Afternoon Rio Hondo Bobcat Community,
RHISD District Officials place the safety of our students and staff as our top priority.
As a result of a possible freeze, District offices and schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
The school start time for Wednesday, January 22, 2025 will be 10:00 am for all campuses.
Bus routes will be delayed by two hours to accomodate this change.
Students being dropped off by parents may not arrive earlier than 9:30 am.
RHISD employees will report by 9:30 am; however, campus security, police officers, cafeteria staff and maintenance personnel which will report at the regular time.
After school academic programs/activities will be cancelled on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 as well as Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
We will continue to monitor the National Weather Service updates as the week continues and keep the pubic apprised of any future delayed starts via our district website, text, and calls.

Dear Parents, the Rio Hondo Schools will not have classes due to the Christmas Holidays and Campus Professional Development/Staff Workdays from: December 20, 2024— Professional Development; December 23, 2024 thru January 3, 2025—Christmas Holidays; and January 6, 2025— Staff Workday. Classes will return to their normal schedule on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Thank you!

The Rio Hondo Schools will dismiss students early on Friday, November 22, 2024. The campuses will dismiss as follow: Elementary School 11:30 am, Middle School 12:00 pm, High School 12:15 pm. Also, as indicated on the 2024-2025 District Calendar, the Rio Hondo Schools will not have classes due to the Thanksgiving Holidays on the week of: November 25—29, 2024. All classes will resume on. Monday, December 2, 2024. Thank you!
